"World Cancer Day" - Special message from Dee Mani

Fri Feb 4th, 2022 - World Cancer Day

"It's hard to find a person in society today who has not been touched by cancer in some way, either directly or indirectly. World Cancer Day hopes to honour those who are fighting and those who have been lost to this dreadful disease. This unique day of remembrance and determination aims to help people understand more about cancer and inspire them to take action so that hopefully one day there will be many in society who are not touched by cancer.

The theme for this year's World Cancer Day is 'I Am and I Will', which is an empowering call to action, asking individuals to make a personal commitment to help reduce the impact of cancer.

While there are various types of cancers, the disease most commonly arises when cell mutations lead to growths called tumours. Unless treated, cancerous growths can start to spread and infect other parts of the body.

There's no denying that cancer is an extremely serious and widespread health issue. Worldwide it's the second-leading cause of death after cardiovascular diseases and it particularly impacts socio-economically disadvantaged communities and countries. Yet occasions such as World Cancer Day remind us that advances in research, prevention, early detection, and natural treatment mean there is much cause for hope.

I firmly believe that all cancers can be prevented and the majority healed as long as they are spotted in good time and treated effectively. It is empowering to know that many of our own behaviours and lifestyle choices can significantly reduce our risk of cancer. Whether it's quitting smoking, reducing our alcohol intake, applying stress reduction techniques to our everyday life, or staying active, there are various ways we can take action to protect our health.

When it comes to treatment, as a natural health advocate, I strongly believe that all dis-ease can be reversed naturally, without the use of toxic conventional medicine which puts a massive strain on the liver as well as other vital organs.

This year marks my 5 years cancer-free. A milestone that I'm accepting with grace and gratitude. With the aggressive type of breast cancer I developed and for refusing pharmaceutical medicine (chemotherapy and radiotherapy), I have defeated the statistical odds of keeping alive and well.

Most people know of my story, that I chose to heal (illegally) with full extract cannabis oil, of a high medical grade using certain strains of the marijuana plant. However, there's a misconception from various news data that CBD can also heal cancer. It CAN NOT, whilst CBD is a miraculous component of the plant, it does not have the capabilities alone to switch on the apoptosis process in order for cancer cell death to take place. What CBD can do is prevent cancer from spreading to different parts of the body.

In terms of CBD and prevention, yes it's true that CBD can avoid cancer from forming in the body in the first place, it's effective because it helps lower several key risk factors for developing cancer. These include elevated blood pressure, high cholesterol levels, inflammation within the body, and obesity - CBD can handle all of these issues and more.

Coming from a cancer survivor myself, I would definitely applaud the notion that prevention is better than cure.  Prevention can come by including a healthy diet with lots of fruits and vegetables, avoiding tobacco, maintaining a healthy weight, regular self-examination to keep an eye on any changes, and by adding quality CBD oil to your daily routine.
